• By car. Join the M69 at Junction 1 just outside Hinckley and head north to the M1; from there the A5460 takes you straight into Leicester city centre. It is roughly 13 miles and around 25 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Market Street has no on-site parking, so we suggest the Newarke Street multi-storey car park (LE1 5SN) or the Highcross car parks, both a short walk away.
• By train. Hinckley railway station is on the Birmingham to Leicester line, with direct CrossCountry services into Leicester roughly every hour and a journey time of around 16 to 20 minutes. Leicester station is a short walk or quick taxi from Market Street, making the train a genuinely easy option.
• By bus. The Arriva 158 service links Hinckley and Leicester, running from The Crescent in Hinckley to St Margaret's Bus Station in Leicester, from where the city centre is a few minutes on foot.
