National Mediation Week

National Mediation Week

This week mediators across the country are promoting the benefits of mediation in National Mediation Week.

Mediators recognise that settlements achieved through parties discussing matters directly themselves are considerably preferable to expensive, lengthy, and stressful court proceedings where decisions regarding their families are decided by Judges or Magistrates who know little about the families’ background.

Other benefits to mediation include the fact that mediator settlements are often more workable and adhered to by the parties than decisions imposed upon them by the courts. If you would like to hear more about mediation contact James Belderbos who is a mediator trained by Resolution and registered with the Family Mediation Council. James is based in Oakham, Rutland and able to conduct online mediations wherever you may be in the country.
