Experience and Background

Michelle began her career as an Office Junior in a multi-discipline practice in Leicester, where James also practised as a solicitor. She progressed to become a Legal Secretary within the Family Department before joining one of Leicester’s first dedicated mediation practices. She remained there for many years, gaining valuable insight into non-court dispute resolution, before joining Belderbos Solicitors in 2021.

With decades immersed in family law, Michelle has developed a profound understanding of the practical and emotional challenges clients face. Her long-standing experience within both litigation and mediation environments reinforces the firm’s balanced, case-by-case approach to resolving family matters.

Outside the Office

Michelle enjoys holidays in the sun, reading and spending time with her family. Family life is always her priority outside the office and allows her to relax and unwind the most.
